A. Alternative education sites must have a plan to address and continually evaluate school climate and culture to ensure academic and behavioral improvement.
1. Alternative schools should utilize an
annual climate survey. The survey should seek to assess student, staff and
administrative attitudes and perception of the environment and overall culture
of the site.
2. Results of the
annual climate survey, if administered, should be shared with teachers, staff,
administration, parents and students no later than May 15 each academic
year.
