A. The purpose and intent of this Chapter are:
1. to provide
specific tax incentives for heritage-based cottage industries in the
geographical area known as the Atchafalaya Trace Heritage Area; and
2. to assist individuals and businesses
engaged in heritage-based commercial activities in obtaining capital and tax
incentives through existing programs administered by federal, state, and local
agencies.
