Section 1104.3 1, Air conditioning for human comfort.

High probability systems used for human comfort shall use Group A1 or A2L refrigerant. In other than industrial occupancies where the quantity in a single independent circuit does not exceed the amount in Table 1103.1, Group B1, B2 and B3 refrigerants shall not be used in high-probability systems for air conditioning for human comfort.

Section 1107 5, Pipe Fittings.

Refrigerant pipe fittings shall be approved for installation with the piping materials to be installed, and shall conform to one of more of the standards listed in Table 1107.5 or shall be approved for installation with the piping materials to be installed, and listed and labeled as complying with UL 109. Additionally, all fittings listed and labled as complying with UL 109 shall be required to be based on the pipe or tube size as specified in the "Gas fittings, all types" column of UL 109, Table 7.1 "Pull Strength Test". Refrigeration fittings not having male or female parts, shall be affixed according to allow for all performance testing specified in UL 109.
