Section 9-10-16 - Limitation on sale of injured or physically defective livestock

The veterinary inspector shall have authority to prevent the sale of livestock which are found to have physical defects, produced by injury or disease. In the event that such animals are permitted to be sold, the veterinary inspector's certificate shall state such physical defects or injuries, and the public livestock market operator, or his representative, shall announce such conditions as are shown on the veterinarian's certificate to the prospective purchasers, before such animals are offered for sale.
