Section 49-8-7 - Election results; period of validity

If a majority of the employees in the collective bargaining unit do not vote in favor of a strike, any strike called in that unit will be considered an unlawful strike. Strike election results shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days after receipt of the notice of certification of said results. This time may be extended by order of the commissioner.
