Section 49-8-3 - Settlement negotiations

In the event a new contract is signed or negotiated by the parties prior to the conducting of the secret strike ballot by the commissioner, it shall be the duty of the officers of the collective bargaining unit and the employer to notify the commissioner by telegram of the settlement of the labor dispute.
