Current through Register Vol. 43, No. 12, March 20, 2024

In the event an existing contract between an employer of the collective bargaining unit is due to expire of its own terms or in the event the contract is subject to renegotiation or revision pursuant to its terms and the collective bargaining unit does desire the commissioner to hold a secret strike ballot, it shall be the duty of the officers of the collective bargaining unit to transmit to the commissioner a report of the negotiations had to that time. The report shall outline the offers and counter offers made by both parties to the other, the dates of such offers, and other pertinent information and shall request the commissioner to hold and conduct a secret strike ballot of the collective bargaining unit.
