Section 49-50-3 - Boiler combustion chamber vents

Each boiler shall be equipped with vents to convey the products of combustion safely from the boiler furnace to the outside atmosphere. Flue piping, draft hoods, draft diverters, and chimney connections shall be installed according to the boiler manufacturer's instructions and the provisions of the national fire codes, NFPA 31, "standard for the installation of oil-burning equipment," and NFPA 54, "national fuel gas code," as adopted by reference in K.A.R. 49-50-2.
