Section 49-25-11 - Tally of balloting, objections

(a) A tally of ballots shall be made by the election agent immediately following the closing of the polls except in the case of unresolved challenged ballots. A tally sheet shall be furnished to all parties to the election.
(b) Each party to the election shall be permitted to observe the count of the ballots.
(c) All objections to a party's conduct or third person's conduct to the election shall be filed with the secretary within five (5) days of the election and the secretary shall immediately conduct an investigation of the objection and shall determine the sufficiency of the election.
