Section 36-37-4 - Insurance requirements

(a) An applicant shall have all motor vehicle liability insurance coverages as required by federal, state and local law for the type of vehicle for which certification is sought.
(b) All insurance requirements shall be in force as of the date of certification and maintained after that date for the period covered by the certification.
(c) The applicant shall furnish proof of insurance upon demand by the KDOT or local law enforcement agency.
(d) Failure to maintain required coverages shall result in revocation of the certificate.
