Section 36-31-4 - Effect on current contracts

(a) The secretary may continue contracts or subcontracts in existence at the time a contractor is debarred or suspended. A decision as to termination by the secretary shall be made only after review of all the facts and circumstances surrounding the debarment or suspension as they affect the responsibility of the contractor.

(b) Contracts shall not be renewed by the secretary once the contractor has been debarred or suspended.
