Section 28-35-343 - Storage precautions

(a) Each source of radiation, except accelerators, shall be provided with a storage container and, if transported, a transport container. The same container may be used in both cases if the container meets the requirements for each use. The container shall be provided with a lock to prevent unauthorized removal of, or exposure to, the source of radiation.
(b) Each source of radiation shall be stored in a manner that minimizes danger from explosion or fire.
