Section 28-35-206 - Applicability of decommissioning requirements following license termination

If, after a site has been decommissioned and associated license has been terminated, new information shows that the requirements specified in these regulations were not met or that the residual radioactivity at the site could result in a significant threat to public health and safety and the environment, then the former licensee shall be required to perform any additional decontamination that is deemed necessary by the secretary.
