Section 28-35-181c - Specific license for human use of radioactive material in sealed sources

(a) A specific license for human use of radioactive materials in sealed sources shall not be issued unless the applicant, or if the application is made by an institution, each individual user of the radioactive material:
(1) Has specialized training in the
diagnostic or therapeutic use of the sealed source device or extensive
experience in the use of the device; and
(2) is a physician.
(b) The applicant shall furnish evidence of the training or experience required by subsection (a) at the time of filing the application for the specific license.
