Section 21-70-24 - Removal of barriers; portable ramps

If installation of a permanent ramp is not readily achievable, a portable ramp may be used to comply with K.A.R. 21-70-21. To avoid any significant risk to the health or safety of individuals with disabilities or others in using portable ramps, due consideration shall be given to safety features, including nonslip surfaces, railings, anchoring, and strength of materials.
