Section 129-6-81 - Medicaid determined eligibles; eligibility factors specific to children living in medicaid-accredited psychiatric hospitals, intermediate care facilities, or residential treatment facilities

To be eligible for participation in the medical assistance program under this regulation, each child shall meet the following requirements:
(a) Meet the general eligibility requirements of K.A.R. 129-6-50; and
(b) be under the age of 21 or, if receiving inpatient psychiatric care on the person's 21st birthday and currently receiving inpatient care in either of the following, be under the age of 22:
(1) A state institution that has been
approved as a medicaid-accredited psychiatric hospital or intermediate care
facility; or
(2) a psychiatric
residential treatment facility as defined in K.A.R. 28-4-1200.
