Section 123-13-408 - Assistance from staff

If at any time during the disciplinary proceedings the hearing officer finds that the charged offender is incapable of self-representation, the hearing officer shall appoint a staff member from an approved list to act as a staff assistant to aid the offender at the disciplinary hearing and to question witnesses. A list of staff members to aid offenders as staff assistants shall be made available to the hearing officer by the superintendent.
This regulation shall be effective on and after April 8, 2005.
