Section 123-12-1302 - Class II offenses and penalties

(a) Class II offenses shall be defined as the following:
(1) The violations designated as class II
offenses by these regulations;
(2)
the violations designated as misdemeanors by state or federal law; and
(3) the violations designated as
class II offenses by internal management policies and procedures and by
facility orders.
(b) The penalty for each class II offense may be any of the following or any combination:
(1) Disciplinary segregation,
not to exceed 15 days;
(2)
forfeiture of good time credits, not to exceed three months;
(3) extra work for up to two hours per day,
not to exceed 20 days;
(4)
restriction to the offender's cell or living quarters, not to exceed seven
days;
(5) restriction from
privileges, not to exceed 30 days;
(6) restitution; or
(7) an oral or written reprimand.
This regulation shall be effective on and after April 8, 2005.
