Section 112-11-6 - Standards of conduct for security guard

(a) Each security guard who carries a firearm shall comply with the provisions of K.S.A. 1988 Supp. 74-5607a and amendments to it or commission security guard training requirements. Each security guard who carries a firearm shall comply with any local ordinances that may apply.
(b) Each security guard shall not:
(1) Use unreasonable force;
(2) obstruct, hinder, interfere or prevent an
investigation by the commission or any law enforcement agency; or
(3) be on the backside unless engaged in
official duties during an assigned tour of duty or unless authorized by track
security to enter.
