Rule 761-615.24 - Suspension Upon Receipt of a Certificate of Noncompliance

(1) From child support recovery unit.
a. The
department shall suspend a person's Iowa-issued driver's license upon receipt
of a certificate of noncompliance from the child support recovery
unit.
b. The suspension shall begin
30 days after the department's notice of suspension is served.
c. The suspension shall continue until
receipt of a withdrawal of the certificate of noncompliance from the child
support recovery unit.
d. The
filing of an application pursuant to Iowa Code section
252J.9
stays the suspension pending the outcome of the district court
hearing.
(2) From college student aid commission. Rescinded IAB 11/6/19, effective 12/11/19.
(3) From department of revenue. Rescinded IAB 2/8/12, effective 3/14/12. This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 252J.1, 252J.8 and 252J.9.
