The impaired practitioner review committee evaluates, assists, and monitors the recovery or rehabilitation of practitioners in the impaired practitioner program and makes reports to the board in the event of noncompliance. The impaired practitioner program is both an advocate for licensee health and a means to protect the health and safety of the public.
