It is unlawful for an individual to function as a radon measurement specialist or radon measurement laboratory in violation of the provisions of the Iowa radon testing Act or of any rule adopted pursuant to the Act. In addition to other sanctions provided in this chapter, persons convicted of violating the provisions of the Act or the rules adopted pursuant to the Act shall be guilty of a serious misdemeanor (Iowa Code section 136B.5).
