Rule 641-25.2 - Applicability

The provisions of the Uniform Plumbing Code, as adopted and amended by this chapter, are applicable to the plumbing in buildings or on premises in Iowa. Local jurisdictions may not adopt other plumbing codes. Local jurisdictions may adopt additional amendments provided they are stricter than the Uniform Plumbing Code as amended by this chapter. Copies of any local amendments shall be provided to the board.
