Rule 641-153.1 - Purpose and scope

The purpose of these rules is to implement Iowa's Smokefree Air Act, enacted to reduce the level of exposure by the general public and employees to environmental tobacco smoke in order to improve the public health of lowans. These rules apply to public places, places of employment, and certain outdoor areas in the state.
