Rule 641-11.15 - Purpose

The purpose of rules 641-11.15 (139A,141A) to 641-11.18 (141A) is to establish a voluntary partner notification program, including a procedure to allow a physician, physician assistant or the department to notify an identifiable third party of an HIV-infected person directly that the party has been exposed to HIV when the HIV-infected person will not participate in the voluntary partner notification program.
