Rule 481-941.11 - Display Requirements for Schools

(1) Every school shall have a sign visible outside the entrance designating the place of business.

(2) A school license and the current proof of renewal shall be posted in the school's front entrance area to provide the public a full unobstructed view of the license.

(3) The current license proof of renewal for each instructor working at the school shall be posted in the school's front entrance area to provide the public a full unobstructed view of the license.

(4) Advertisements for a school of barbering and cosmetology arts and sciences shall indicate that all services are performed by students under the supervision of instructors.

(5) A sign shall be clearly displayed in the entrance of a school of barbering and cosmetology arts and sciences that indicates in prominent lettering that students perform all services under the supervision of instructors.
