Rule 361-10.12 - Timeliness of hearings

Every effort shall be made to have a complaint heard within three months of the date the complaint is filed with the council. If a complaint is filed or initiated less than 90 days prior to the election for state office for which the person named in the complaint is the incumbent officeholder, the hearing shall be set at the earliest available date so as to allow the issues to be resolved before the election.
