Rule 265-15.6 - Blanket Purchase Agreements

If the authority foresees a requirement for frequent purchases of off-the-shelf items, the authority may establish blanket purchase agreements. A blanket purchase agreement is a formally approved charge account that is designed to reduce paperwork and the number of checks issued. Blanket purchase agreements are subject to the competitive bidding requirements previously outlined, where applicable.
