Rule 21-64.203 - Restrictions on the Removal of Official Identification

No person may remove or tamper with any approved means of identification required to be on sheep or goats, unless the identification must be removed for medical reasons, in which case new official identification must be applied to the animal as soon as possible and prior to Cornmingling that could result in the loss of identity of the animal. A record documenting the change of official identification must be made.
