Rule 21-61.32 - Carcass Disposal-streams

All persons are strictly forbidden to throw the carcass of any animal into any river, stream, lake or pond or bury the carcass of any animal near any stream or tile drain. Such carcasses if dead of nonCornmunicable disease, if not disposed of to a rendering plant, must be buried six feet below the surface of the ground, in accordance with the preceding rule.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 167.18.
