Rule 21-45.24 - Warning, Caution and Antidote Statements

In order to promote uniformity between the requirements of the Iowa pesticide Act and requirements of the several states and the federal government, Iowa Code section 206.21 of the Iowa pesticide Act provides for the adoption of rules and regulations in conformity with those prescribed by the United States department of agriculture. Warning, caution and antidote statements required to appear on labels of pesticides under the pesticide Act shall conform to the warning, caution and antidote statements required under interpretation 18 and revisions thereof of the regulations for the enforcement of the federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, which interpretation 18 and revisions thereof are hereby incorporated into this rule by this reference and made a part hereof
