Rule 199-14.13 - Signatures

(1) Filings by registered users. The use of a user ID and password in accordance with the registration procedures specified in rule 14.6(17A,476) constitutes the filer's signature. Filers shall use "/s/" followed by the signer's name to indicate a signature where applicable. All pleadings must also include a signature block containing the signer's name, title, address. E-mail address, and telephone number All electronic filings are presumed to have been made by the person whose user ID and password have been used to make the electronic filing.

(2) Filings by guest users. The personal information required to submit a filing as a guest user constitutes the filer's signature. Filers shall use "/s/" followed by the signer's name to indicate a signature where applicable. All pleadings must also include a signature block containing the signer's name, title, address. E-mail address, and telephone number

(3) Documents with handwritten signatures. Any document bearing a handwritten signature, such as an affidavit, shall be filed electronically using "/s/" followed by the signer's name to indicate a signature. The filer must retain the original paper version of any such document bearing the original signature and any notarization or verification for a period of two years or until the conclusion of the proceeding or the conclusion of any appeal or related judicial proceeding, whichever is greater, and must promptly file the original if ordered by the board or requested by another party.
