Rule 187-10.1 - Scope

Iowa Code section 527.3 authorizes the administrator to issue rules applicable to financial institutions regarding the operation or control of a satellite terminal or pertaining to a financial transaction engaged in through a satellite terminal. Iowa Code section 527.11 empowers the administrator to adopt and promulgate rules which are necessary to properly and effectively carry out and enforce Iowa Code chapter 527. When the term "administrators" appears in this chapter, it signifies that joint action or enforcement may be taken by the administrators specified in Iowa Code sections 527.2 and 527.3.
