Sec. 7.
(a) If, at any time following the filing of a complaint, the director concludes that prompt judicial action is necessary to carry out the purposes of this rule or 910 IAC 2-7, the director may commence a civil action for appropriate temporary or preliminary relief pending final disposition of the complaint. The commencement of a civil action under this section shall not affect the initiation or continuation of proceedings under this rule or administrative proceedings under 910 IAC 2-7.
(b) If the director has reason to believe that a basis exists for the commencement of proceedings against the respondent:
(1) under IC 22-9.5-8.1-1, concerning pattern or practice cases;
(2) under IC 22-9.5-4-7 (b), concerning enforcement of subpoenas; or
(3) proceedings by any governmental licensing or supervisory authorities; the director shall transmit the information upon which that belief is based to the appropriate authorities for enforcement.
