Sec. 1.
(a) As used in this rule, "distance education" means a course in which instruction does not take place in a traditional classroom setting but rather through other media where the educator and student are separated by distance and sometimes by time.
(b) Methods of distance learning education include, but are not limited to, the following:
(1) Education by correspondence.
(2) Video instruction.
(3) Internet education.
(c) "Provider" means an individual or company that creates and delivers continuing education by distance learning methods.
