Section 4-1 - Auctioneer courses; hours of classroom instruction

Sec. 1.

(a) An auctioneer course shall consist of at least eighty (80) hours of classroom instruction.

(b) Each fully in-person auctioneer course shall be conducted on at least ten (10) different days with a maximum of eight (8) hours of instruction per day.

(c) Of the eighty (80) hours required, the commission may approve up to forty-eight (48) hours of online distance learning, provided that the minimum of thirty-two (32) hours remain fully in person.

(d) The examinations required under section 4(a) of this rule may not count toward the hours required by subsection (a).
