Rule 6 - Amateur Mixed Martial Arts
Section 6-3 - Promoter's license

Sec. 3.
(a) A company that seeks to act as a promoter for an event must first obtain a license as a promoter under IC 4-33-22-18 and this rule.
(b) An applicant for a promoter's license must submit the following:
(1) A completed promoter's application
form.
(2) Clear photocopies of
current government issued photographic identification cards that affirm that:
(A) the principal owner;
(B) substantial owners; and
(C) key persons; are at least twenty-one (21)
years of age.
(3) One (1)
digital photograph of:
(A) the principal
owner;
(B) substantial owners;
and
(C) key persons; that shows
head and shoulders only, without a hat, and in a natural
pose.
(4) The required
application fee under this rule.
(5) The information necessary for the
executive director or the executive director's designee to conduct a criminal
history background check for:
(A) the
principal owner;
(B) substantial
owners; and
(C) key
persons.
(6) Additional
information requested by the executive director or the executive director's
designee that is necessary to determine the applicant's suitability to act as a
promoter under IC
4-33-22-18
and this rule.
(c) The following are prohibited from acting as an official for an amateur mixed martial arts bout:
(1) A promoter licensed in
a state, country, or tribal nation.
(2) An:
(A)
employee; or
(B) agent; of a
promoter licensed in any state, country, or tribal
nation.
