Rule 8 - Caribbean Draw Poker
Section 8-1 - General provisions

Sec. 1.
(a) This rule applies to all riverboat licensees.
(b) Caribbean Draw Poker shall be conducted only in conformance with this rule.
(c) Riverboat licensees may only offer the game of Caribbean Draw Poker on a table and layout that is in compliance with 68 IAC 14-12.
(d) The following definitions apply throughout this rule:
(1) "Bonus payment hand" means a hand in
which the patron has one (1) or more of the following combinations:
(A) Royal flush.
(B) Straight flush.
(C) Four (4) of a kind.
(D) Full house.
(E) Flush.
(F) Straight.
(G) Three (3) of a kind.
(2) "Deal" means the distribution of the
playing cards among the players and the dealer.
(3) "Dealer" means the occupational licensee
of the riverboat licensee who is responsible for dealing cards at the Caribbean
Draw Poker table.
(4) "Minimum play
level hand" means a hand in which the dealer has a pair of eights or better in
the dealer's hand.
(5) "Progressive
feature" means a Caribbean Draw Poker game that is attached to a progressive
controller that increases the payment uniformly as the progressive feature of
the Caribbean Draw Poker games attached to the link is played by the
patron.
