Section 8-7 - Inspection; assignment of state registration number; alternative standards

Sec. 7.

(a) At the time of the first operating permit inspection, the inspector shall assign and attach a state registration number preceded by the letters "IND". The letters and figures shall not be less than one-fourth (1/4) inch in height and shall be arranged as follows:

(b) The number assigned shall be one (1) from the series provided to the inspector in accordance with 675 IAC 30-3-18.

(c) The number shall not be concealed by lagging or paint and shall be visible at all times.

(d) All existing power boiler installations shall conform to sections 8 through 16 of this rule or shall conform to the edition of the ASME B&PVC under which they were constructed and stamped, or to the ASME B&PVC as adopted in 675 IAC 30-1-1.
