Rule 6 - New Installations of Boilers
Section 6-2 - Inspection; stamping of serial number

Sec. 2.

(a) Upon completion of the installation of a boiler, it shall be inspected by an inspector. At the time of the first operating permit inspection, the inspector shall assign and attach a state registration number, preceded by the letters "IN". The letters and figures shall not be less than one-fourth (1/4) inch in height and shall be arranged as follows:

(b) The number assigned shall be one (1) from the series provided to the inspector under 675 IAC 30-3-18.

(c) The number shall not be concealed by lagging or paint and shall be visible at all times.
