Sec. 7.

(a) Doorways without doors that are less than thirty-six (36) inches (nine hundred fourteen (914) millimeters) wide shall have maneuvering clearances complying with TABLE V7.1 as follows:

1Maneuvering space shall include full width of doorway.

(b) Where the plane of the doorway is recessed more than eight (8) inches (twenty and three-tenths (20.3) centimeters) from the plane of the wall, clearances for front approach shall be provided.

(c) Floor or ground surface within the maneuvering clearances shall have a slope not greater than 1:48 and shall comply with section 13 of this rule.
