Rule 14 - Firefighting and Emergency Equipment Revolving Loan Fund
Section 14-1 - Definitions

Sec. 1.

(a) The definitions in this section apply throughout this rule.

(b) "Office" means either of the following:

(1) The state fire marshal.

(2) Employees of the state fire marshal.

(c) "Personal protective equipment" means any of the following:

(1) Protective:
(A) coats;

(B) trousers;

(C) coveralls;

(D) footwear;

(E) gloves; and

(F) hoods.

(2) Proximity protective:
(A) coats;

(B) trousers;

(C) coveralls;

(D) footwear;

(E) gloves; and

(F) hoods.

(3) Emergency medical:
(A) garments;

(B) face protection devices; and

(C) gloves.

(4) Helmets.

(5) Self-contained breathing apparatus.

(6) Vapor protective suits.

(7) Liquid splash-protective suits.

(8) Chemical-protective clothing.

(d) "Qualified entity" has the meaning set forth in IC 22-12-1-18.7.

(e) "Revolving fund" means the firefighting and emergency equipment revolving loan fund established by IC 22-14-5[IC 22-14-5 was repealed by P.L. 107-2007, SECTION 18, effective July 1, 2007.].
