Sec. 4.
(a) Political subdivisions may incorporate by reference building rules of the commission in local building codes established by ordinance in accordance with IC 22-13-2-3.
(b) Building rules adopted by the commission in 675 IAC 13, 675 IAC 14, 675 IAC 16, 675 IAC 17, 675 IAC 18, 675 IAC 19, 675 IAC 20, and 675 IAC 22 are collectively a code of building laws required to be enforced at the local level of government under IC 36-7-2-9.
