Sec. 103.
(a) The minimum training standards for Structural Collapse Rescuer-Technician certification shall be as set out in those certain documents, being titled as follows:
(1) NFPA 1670, Standard on Operations
and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents, Chapter 4 and Sections
5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 9.2, 11.2, 11.3,
11.4, 12.2, 12.3, and 12.4, 2009 Edition, published by NFPA, Batterymarch Park,
Quincy, Massachusetts 02269, which is hereby adopted by reference and made a
part of this rule as if fully set out in this rule. NFPA 1500, NFPA 1521, and
NFPA 1561 are:
(A) not adopted;
(B) not enforceable; and
(C) referenced for information purposes
only.
(2) NFPA 472,
Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous
Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents, Chapters 4 and 5 and Sections
6.2 and 6.6, 2008 Edition, published by NFPA, Batterymarch Park, Quincy,
Massachusetts 02269, which is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of
this rule as if fully set out in this rule. NFPA 1500, NFPA 1521, and NFPA 1561
are:
(A) not adopted;
(B) not enforceable; and
(C) referenced for information purposes
only.
(b) The candidate shall have been certified as:
(1) a
Trench Rescuer-Technician; and
(2)
a Structural Collapse Rescuer-Operations.
