Sec. 9.
(a) If a public utility company does not file the annual report required under section 2 of this rule with the department on or before the due date, the company will incur a penalty of one hundred dollars ($100) per day for each day that the annual report is late. However, a penalty under this subsection may not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000).
(b) An annual report is not considered to be complete unless the report contains the information required by the department and is signed under the penalty of perjury by an authorized person.
(c) A public utility company that does not file a complete annual report is subject to the penalty provided in subsection (a) for each day that the annual report is not complete.
