Sec. 3.

(a) County assessors shall forward to the division of data analysis electronic spreadsheets that contain all data used to calculate a coefficient of dispersion (COD) and median ratio for the county and each township on or before March 1. The data the county assessor provides must, at a minimum, include the following information for each property used to calculate the COD and median ratio:

(1) Parcel number.

(2) Township.

(3) Neighborhood code.

(4) Property class code.

(5) Taxing district.

(6) Sale date.

(7) Sale price.

(8) Assessed value of land.

(9) Assessed value of improvement.

(10) Total assessed value.

(11) Ratio.

(b) The division will review and verify the accuracy of the computations. If errors are found in the computations, the division will notify the county assessor, who shall correct all errors. Once all errors are corrected, the county assessor shall forward the corrected computations to the division for verification. When this verification is complete, the division will notify the county assessor.
