Sec. 4.

Whenever exposure to communicable disease has occurred in the facility, the facility shall provide the disinfection of toilet facilities, furnishings, toys or other articles that may have been used by a child diagnosed as having a communicable disease, and the effective disinfection and disposal of bodily discharges containing infectious material.

No facilities or articles that have been used by a child suspected of having a communicable disease shall be used by any other person until they have been disinfected or until it has been established that the child did not have a communicable disease.

The facility shall provide and use a room or area to separate from the group any child having or suspected of having a communicable disease or any illness. This room or area shall not be used for any other purpose by the children while being used as isolation quarters. Toilet and lavatory facilities shall be nearby. Furnishings shall be easily sanitized.
