Sec. 7.
(a) Notwithstanding subsection (b), a CMHC must notify the division, in writing, within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of any of the following:
(1) A documented violation of the rights of
an individual being treated for mental illness under IC 12-27.
(2) A suicide attempt by an
individual.
(3) The death of an
individual.
(b) Prior to implementation of changes to team specific admission criteria, a CMHC must submit to the division, in writing, the revised admission criteria. The CMHC shall not implement the revised admission criteria until approved in writing by the division.
