Section 1-22 - "Nonemergent care" defined

Sec. 22.
"Nonemergent care" means nonlife threatening situations that require care and follow-up but that require no immediate actions. Nonemergent care is consistent with routine primary care and includes the following:
(1) Immunizations.
(2) Routine follow-up of prior injuries or illness.
(3) Suture removal.
(4) Rashes.
(5) Uncomplicated diarrhea.
