Section 10-1 - Establishment of POWER account; noninterest bearing account

Sec. 1.

(a) The managed care organizations shall establish and administer a POWER account in the name of each individual enrolled in the plan. The maximum amount that may be contributed to the POWER account is two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) per year, contributed as specified under section 4 of this rule.

(b) POWER account funds shall be used to pay the member's deductible for health care services covered under the plan.

(c) A member shall not keep interest earned on the member's POWER account.
